 AMEBIASIS:

• AGENTE ETIOLOGICO:

- Entamoeba histolytica (patogena).
- Entamoeba dispar (no patogena).


Trofozoito 20 – 40 micras. Tiene glóbulos rojos en su interior.
Prequiste 10 – 20 micras. Inmovil.
Quiste 10 – 18 micras. 1 – 4 nucleos.
Periodo de incubación: 48 – 72 horas.
Forma infectante: quiste (orofecal).
Se ubica en intestino grueso.
